Following on from the Eagle, the decision was made to design a much heavier version including an extra heavy gun and an amphibious ability. The resultant ship was a very fast and powerful craft that was very resiliant although, as expected, agility did suffer slightly. Neverthe less, the ship proved itself to be extremely stable and an excelent combat bird.
