E-1C Klaxon
*E-1C Klaxon*
AG6: (Landing light), AG7: (Navigation lights) Normal controls. Yaw will also control the nose wheel for taxiing on the runway.
The E-1C Klaxon is an AWACS (Airborne early warning & control aircraft) currently in service with my Japanese Air Force. Its real world inspiration comes from the SAAB 340 Erieye system.
Armed with a powerful AESA (Active electronically scanned array) which can survey 500,000 Sq. KM horizontally and 60,000 ft vertically. Sea coverage is only limited by the horizon and everything from fighter aircraft, hovering helicopters, cruise missiles, and jet ski- sized sea targets can be detected and tracked. The radar is also very resistant to jamming.
Typical missions for this aircraft would include.
-Air and sea suveillance to include intelligence.
-Airborne Early Warning
-Control of assets
-Surveillance and control of national borders, assets, and economic zones.
-Search and Rescue
-Alert Warning
-Air Policing

@EternalDarkness Thanks! I always appreciatte the input. I tried to improve the original cockpit design but didn't get anywhere, its something I'll have to work on. As for the wheels on main gear I will address that going forward.
@Planefun Thanks!
Cockpit is kinda noobish, and wheels of the main gear ought to be bigger. Other than that, it's great. Lots of little antennas and other details.
@Dimkal Thanks! I just flew it. Awesome aircraft btw.
Thats a nice aircraft with many details! I read in description that this aircraft belongs to your JASDF fleet. Just a while ago I posted a proposed fighter jet for JASDF, the F-3EJ Raijin. Check it if u like, as it can be a really nice pair with ur AWACS platform!
@MadBomber Np!
@Pilotmario Thank you sir!
First. And hopefully, not last.
