Battle ships Dingyuan, a Dingyuan class combat ship, cost 6.2 million marks or 370,000 pounds, a first class, 7,000 ton ironclad warship commissioned by the Qing Dynasty to the Vulcan shipyard in Tanterbredo, Germany, which was transferred to Poland after World War II and is now known as Szczecin. Dingyuan and Chinese Turret Ship Zhenyuan were the capital ships of the northern fleet of the Qing Dynasty.
