Mitsubishi Ki-73

The Mitsubishi Ki-73 was a prototype high-altitude interceptor developed by Japan in late WWII. Very little is known about this plane apart from it's role and engine. The engine was a 24-cylinder horizontal-H shape, which was basically two flat-12 engines slapped on top of each other then geared together. The engine generated immense power as each flat-12 generated power comparable to normal aircraft engines. This made the aircraft blisteringly quick, with a top speed of nearly 500mph even below 10,000 feet. I couldn't find any armament details, so I gave armament capable of taking down US heavy bombers, two Ho-301 40mm cannons, and four Ho-5 20mm cannons. VTOL is flaps, Trim is trim, and any feedback/criticism/advice is welcome Enjoy!

As someone who is obsessed with WWII style aircraft some advice I can give you that the main landing gear is too far back. Putting it closer to the leading edge would look much better. Or alternatively make it a tricycle landing gear arrangement.
