The predecessor to the blackbird, this plane was built to be the fastest plane ever. It only flew once, and crashed. Its remains were never found. Then, one day, a farmer, cutting firewood, went further into the forest then he had ever gone before. He found this plane, completly wrecked. He of course had no idea of the historic value of it, and promptly sold it, to the highest bidder. Me. I then spent the next twenty years of my life fixing it. I searched everywhere, buying the entire forest that the farmer had found the plane in, and my efforts were rewarded! I found both of the jets, which were meant to shoot off the plane, in case of a crash. One of them was in almost perfect condition, appart from sitting in the forest for over 80 years. The other one took me an EXTREMLY long time to fix, but eventually I had them both mounted on the plane. Then all I had to do, was to replace one of the wings, fix the cockpit, replace the glass, change the landing gear, repaint.. but I do not wish to bore you with the entire story of how I fixed it. Let it suffice to say, that after a very long time, and years of hard work, it now can fly. I think. That is your job, as the test pilot, to find out. Go fly it for me, so that the years I spent reparing it will not all have been waisted.
