The 1991's Maywar Endurance Rally was a mysterious one. All of the racers needed to stop before the Rattlesnake stage, becouse of a huge sandstorm, but there's was a driver called David Kavinsky, who left his navigator back, and faced trough the sandstorm, because he wanted to gain advantage, and keep his stage record. When the Storm gone nobody knowed where Kavinsky is.... He didn't reached the checkpoint, the other drivers didn't saw him, the rescue team flew trough the whole desert, but they didn't found Kavinsky's body nor his vehicle... Maybe he got lost in the desert, or drove off the cliff, but they strangely didn't found anything 'till today

The Rattlesnake stage was closed for 10 years, when the race organisers opened it again, then a lot of accident happened there, it became to be the most dangerous stage of the rally. The racers started to telling strange stories about Kavinsky's ghost, who still try to make it out of the desert, and when a driver see or mets with his ghost, he'll get instantly an accident. There's some stories told by racers:

Matt Brewler and his navigator James Turner tryed to go trough the stage with a record time in 2008 then as Matt telled: "i suddenly noticed a race car behind me, it has no number, and as i saw no driver, then when i just looked away the mirror i hit something and we rolled over.... James also saw it we don't know who was that or what... The rescue team sayed they saw only our tyre marks in the sand, and we crashed because of my exhaustion..."

A race truck with two japanese pilot was also crashed there, in 2010 the driver Toshi Takamura sayed that about the accident: "We were ca. 1,4 km far from the end of the Rattlesnake Stage, then my navigator spotted a strange, glowing race car in front of us. It vanished right after a corner, and then suddenly we got a tire blowout, and we rolled over... The race supervision sayed, our accident was because we gone trough of some sharp, old, chassis part... Strange...

Last year our team tryed to go trough on that stage with record time, but we got stuck in the sand. Our record attempt was blown... When we dug out our car, i saw something glowing on a distant dune. I don't know what was that, but it coul'd be anything... Or not?

Happy Halloween guys!
