KT-21 Orusendian Defense Fighter (Day of Liberty Livery)

29.6k LegnaK  6.5 years ago

Nation of Origin: Orusenda

Developed by the Orusendian Defense Force in 1997 as a Air Superiority fighter, the KT-21 eventually outgrew its role and became an "Omni-role" type aircraft due to its high variable payload, high agility and great stability. The initial concept of the KT-21 dates back to October of 1984 with the joint development of Dieswen, Ryclia, and La Pointe du Norde, however the project was broken off as relationships weakened between Orusenda and the other nations, causing them to pull out of the JSF project and work on their own aircraft alone.

Financial burdens of the now solo project further hindered the development of the KT-21 for a little over a decade as Orusenda's defense department was more keen on keeping the current aircraft in use, despite other nations vastly advancing ahead of the country, however, after the Summit meeting of Andosnia, Dieswen, Hon-Kain, Iosia, Nordenvok, Orusenda, and Ryclia over the discovery of the 1993MDX0204 Asteroid, the ODD requested that a new fighter be developed to stay on par with neighboring nations in the possible event that global war could break out if the Planetfall of the 1993MDX0204 were to occur despite efforts of Anti-Asteroid defense systems in development in Iosia and Andosnia.
