Made something like this in matlab
I posted some pictures if you want to see them. Check my profile. @AdrianFlyingAce
@AdrianFlyingAce - I'm working on the Focke-Wulf Ta 152, and Walrus Jr. is working on a TU-22M.
Thanks, @WalrusAircraft. I'm going to release the scripts soon, don't worry.
@SledDriver - Lovely job. I'd be interested in seeing the scripts you wrote.
@SledDriver, Alan Walker is a famous person who makes music, and one of his song names is spectre.
@NoName101 I still don't get it.
Thanks, @Ephwurd
Nice work! I like this design
I'll definitely start trying editing sizes through overload @SledDriver
@LiamW The developers should build something like that into the in-game editor, where people can draw outlines using Bezier curves, and the editor fills them in with fuselage blocks. We would really see some interesting planes then.
Nice execution. I should look into scripting like that @SledDriver
@LiamW No, not at all. If I had to adjust 649 parts individually it wouldn't be worth my time. I generate the entire shapes (wings, engines, etc) in one go using scripts I wrote.
So this isn't 649 parts I put together, it's one subassembly for the wings, one for the engine nozzles, one for the engine intakes, and one for the vertical stabilizers. Then I add wings, engines, weapons, etc. So it's less than 40 "parts" total.
Wow. You adjusted 649 parts individually and (presumably) changed it a few times in an hour or two. Unless you use sub assemblies or some thing @SledDriver
@LiamW Usually between 1 and 2 hours.
@LiamW @bjac0 Thanks.
How many hours does it take you on average to build these creations?
It's.... beautiful
