The "Strafe" was designed to be a short-range ground support aircraft with enough thrust to strike and then blast off. The front engines act as weight, balance and can power the jet. The front engines are controlled by the VTOL, while the rear ones are controlled by thrust. AG1 controls the four smaller low-speed engines, while AG2 controls the central engine. On an attack run you can either turn off the front or rear engines to slow down.
