Don't be confused with Su-15 (''T-58'') 1965. This designation was used twice
Su-15 was a prototype subsonic interceptor designed by Sukhoi Design Bureau in 1948. It was aerodynamically asymmetric because the cockpit was shifted to the left slightly. The first built aircraft perfomed its maiden flight 1/11/1949 and entered factory testing but 6/3/1949 it crashed because of a deadly flatter. The second Su-15 (named ''Dublyor'' - russian for ''Backup'') was never completed and Su-15 was cancelled.
I've built this replica using photos of the first Su-15 and drawings of the Dublyor. They have a lot in common, but were slightly different
Max speed = 1050 kph
VTOL UP = flaps down
Enjoy!
