RSS Elite is the lead ship of the Elite Class Armored Cruisers, the first Armored Cruiser in the world. She was launched in 1848 and was commisioned in 1851. She served in the Royal Sovereign Navy for 25 years. Most of her career is about patrolling, but most of her patrols were part of the major operations of the Sovereign Navy.
