Reverse Engineering Project - Marine Operations Platform "Skipper." Derived from multiple instance of alien craft, DARPA really outdid themselves this time. This particular model is being developed in a front in the form of an oil rig, dubbed Area-53. The folks at 51' are trying to cook something from remains of a craft itself, while those at 52' are making something like ours but for airfield use, we'll get you a copy of both to fly in due time. This is the first Successful iteration of this craft, improvements will be made in future models and variants but... it's a start. The aircraft has some peculiar qualities, although it is highly responsive to rolling, the elevators make for one sorry turn radius. The thrust to weight ratio is splendid, just look up to go up, though when cruising the nose tends to look down so look out for that. The entire craft is water tight, able to even submerge and retain operation, the engine won't work underwater but it's fine if it gets wet a little bit inside and out. You can dive at the water at high speeds as long as your angle of approach isn't too steep, else you'd damage the craft itself. As a final note, if you capsize it's over. For now the platform is unarmed until avionics can become more reliable, feel free to shove a torpedo or two in if you wish though. Also don't add wing landing gear to the back tips of the wings, it makes the craft borderline unstable.

AG1 - Chute (It slows/stop the craft REALLY effectively, so don't use it until you really want to stop)

Neat trick, if you dive at the water at the right angle going some 300 mph, your craft will go deep enough that the buoyancy rods attached will give you enough speed to launch straight back into the air. An easy way to do this is to spawn at Wright Final Approach, restart, and just not touch anything until you're launched.
