I made the fuselage into super tiny segments and put rods on the sides. When you shoot the missile turret(pitch and roll) the cockpit flies out but part of the body remains intact. I consider this: kindof a success. The rods are impractical but the segmented fuselage makes belly landings a bit easier.

@TehJetMan The only armor that works is Delphinius's super huge beast this one just has a higher explosive resistance than just a plain fuselage.
