Wikipedia

The Boeing 767 is a civilian passenger wide-body aircraft with a medium-sized jet engine built by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It was the first twin-engine wide-body aircraft produced by the manufacturer and the first aircraft with a two-crew cockpit glass. The aircraft has two turbofan engines, a conventional tail and, to reduce aerodynamic drag, a supercritical wing design. Designed as a wide-body aircraft smaller than pre-existing aircraft such as the 747, the 767 has a capacity of 181-375 people and is designed to cover a distance of 3850 to 6385 nautical miles (7130 to 11825 km), depending on the variant. The development of the 767 coincided with the development of another wide-body aircraft, the 757, resulting in the same design features that allowed pilots to obtain a general type rating for operating these two aircraft.

The Boeing 767 is manufactured with three different airframe sizes. The 767-200 entered service in 1982, followed by the 767-300 in 1986 and the 767-400ER, the extended range (ER) variant, in 2000. The extended range variants of the 767-200ER and 767-300ER entered service on 1984 and 1988, respectively, while a cargo-produced version, the 767-300F, made its debut in 1995.
