I accidentally explained this in the T4A post, so I don’t have much else to add. The main selling points of the T4 are the improved 76mm gun that performs like the 7.5cm gun on the IRL Panther and the redesigned turret. In exchange for a lower silhouette and 100mm of armor layered in front of the turret, the reload is 2 seconds longer. That aside, overall mobility is faster, and the hull armor is more reliable than the T2.
