Tank Grabber
It’s ok. You don’t have to explain. I know you’ve had an on and off relationship with the convoy of tanks in SimplePlanes. And I get it! They’re so cute, with their piss-yellow paint job and get-out-of-my-way-or-I-will-run-over-you-too-late-I-am running-over-you-attitude. But then, as innocent as it may seem, you enter air-to-ground mode and WOOOAAAHHH, the convoy decides you’ve taken things to far and proceeds to blow you up. Believe me, I’ve been there too. Don’t you wish there was a simpler way? A device that could allow you to spend as much time as you wanted with a tank of your choosing? I did too, which led me to building the quad-copter-car-winch-device I proudly refer to as the TANK GRABBER! With this bad boy you simply start at Yeager Airport and fly over to the tanks (using AG1 to activate flight mode). After landing near the tanks you activate AG2 and deactivate AG1 to enter car mode, and using throttle and roll steer yourself into formation with the convoy of tanks. From there all you need to do is employ an endless amount of patience and a liberal usage of the slow motion button to get a tank under you, in which case you can lower the winch (VTOL up) and activate AG3 to turn on the magnets to pick up the tank. From there you can reel in the winch and switch back to AG1, and proceed to fly away victoriously with your tank!
Enjoy!
Coaxium Smuggler
(P.S. I’m aware there’s only 3 tanks in the convoy, and the rest are armored vehicles, but tank grabber sounder more catchy).
(P.S.S. Low physics works best)
