T4A MBT
Building up to the start of The Second Warlord Period, the PRE was designing a standardized MBT rather than different vehicles to suit different roles. This would come to fruition as the T4, fitted with the same gun as the T2 but in the shape of an OTL T54. At the break of the Second Warlord Period, 10 T4s with varying calibers of weapons were under testing. The Kamishuidaka State assumed control of the prototypes and restarted production. The T4 performed exceptionally well against the Chupacabra MGS and the dated Type 2 Mediums of the Federalist Coalition. Production of an improved T4 swung into production in the form of the T4A after the ceasefire and the formation of the Veiian United Front to face invading Chtengian MBTs. The New T4A featured improved fire control systems and a 100mm gun that fired APDS but still lacked a stabilizer. Despite this, The new T4A and the original T4 proved worthy during the Second Battle of Miyakumo, where an armored unit consisting of the T4 series broke through Chtengian lines, cutting off supply and leading the way to the encirclement of 80% of the invading force. The T4A was cheaper to produce and yielded better results than most of the tanks used by the fiefs during and after the Second Warlord Period. Combined with the simplicity of its controls, the T4A, and later T4A1 and T4B, was a staple of the Veiian army throughout the '70s
