di-human mbt tank

History

in 1998 the army of the 7 sun's conducted a new mbt programme to replace or lead the older 977s
It lead to two tanks called the YX-5983 and the YX-988. the YX-988 won the program and has been redesignated as the X-988

It was proved useful in urban combat for many reasons like the tracks, addon armour etc.

It completely changed the di-human armoured battalion doctrine as it lead to making lead tanks instead of pairs without a battalion commander

It was very accessible as over 10,000 tanks we're ordered and 6,775 we're built
And 231 we're captured or destroyed.
