(Fictional history) After the Ar-2 and Tupolev SB became outdated the Soviet Union developed plans for faster, heavier, and more capable bombers. Among several designs such as the Ilyushin DB-3, Yermolayev Yer-2, and the Prototype Kalinin K-12. the K-12 was a Tailless bomber developed in the 1930s, also called the Kalinin BS-2 or the Zhar-Ptitsa (Firebird). Arkhangelski, the manufacturers of the Ar-2 a Tupolev SB derivative, refined the design to be more stable and carry a heavier bomb load. but after the Execution of Konstantin Kalinin and the cancellation of the K-12 project, the Ar-3 project was scrapped with no airframes built.
