Well the horten229 did technically exist and it was test flown but one of the engines broke and the plane crashed and killed the test pilot so it never entered service
@Planenut2017 it was most likely the storngest fighter in the entire war but there are lots of misconceptions about lots of planes from germany of that time. the dornier do335 was a bomber. the horten 229 does not exist (realy the hortens were only designers. the prototypes were called horten 9 but the series production was called gotha go 229 after the company that was ordered to build it). and the worst german plane of that time was the first jet interceptor (heinkel spatz also known as salamander but the salamander is most likely from a czech after war production run the heinkel 163 has no confirmed victorys but a lot of losses to sabotage by the people presst to build it).
Oh really I thought it was because of its effectiveness on the b-17s. oh well I did think I read somewhere that it was though@Irobert55
but does look not so bad after all.
sorry but this is ironic because this plane was not an interceptor.
