DragA-7 Nightstalker Night Fighter

5,804 DragonAerotech  9.0 years ago

Dragon Aerotech's first "official" release is this twin-engined devil of the night. While outclassed in terms of avionics and high performance of jet aircraft what the Nightstalker does not lack is maneuverability and center-mass forward armament. Its nose is outfitted with a trio of 12.7 mm machine-guns and a pair of 20 mm cannons easily capable of reducing an enemy aircraft to scrap in a dogfight.

Additionally it features a rear cockpit, fixed mount 12.7 mm machine-gun with ...  a lower rate of fire than the nose mounted types but mounted at a 45 degree angle to allow the Nightstalker to discourage enemy aircraft from taking a rearward position on her as well as taking down night-bombers from below.

(CG 1 to operate the rear gun. Note that the 12.7 mm guns have blue-white tracers while the 20 mm guns have green tracers.)

* Inspired in part by the Bf-110 as well as the new tutorial aircraft.
