Model 1A Hermes Fighter
The Hermes Fighter is the primary fighter aircraft of the Olympian Air Force. Developed in response to the success of the Hawk Fighter, it served alongside the Fury. During the initial stages of the Third War, it and the Fury were able to successfully challenge Pilotmario air superiority for the first time. Unlike the Fury, it was a large air frame that was very conductive to upgrades, fitting larger engines and more advanced weaponry. It also had its own radar, where the Fury discarded it in order to save weight, relying on ground control for direction. The Hermes is used to this day, and the heavily upgraded variants continue to challenge Pilotmario Air Force pilots. While useless against the Renegade II, it is a competent challenger to the Maverick and the Dart, which comprise the majority of the Pilotmario Air Force.
