29.9k AtlasMilitaryIndustries  2.3 years ago

Designer: ATLAS MILITARY AVIATION

Year of Introduction: 2022

Role: Two seat fighter bomber

Armament: 4x Günther & Häwke R-22I Semi-Active short range missiles, 4x Günther & Häwke KB-01 Anvil guided glide bombs, and 20x MK-24 advanced small diameter bombs.

An improved variant of the TF-201, the "S" version features a slightly redesigned fuselage, 3D thrust vectoring, improved landing gear, and a more effective fly by wire system. It's maneuverability is far superior to previous versions and is much more stable when conducting low speed maneuvers. The Strike Drake S is more than capable in a dogfight despite it being a fighter bomber. Although due to regulations on this airframe the production model is unable to preform post stall maneuvers on its own. However, it can be modified to execute such maneuvers.
