@ZimboGamer yure right. the plane used the same angines as the me262 and this lead to complications. another reason for its ruff development was probably the general stupidity of the nazi regime. hitler was not a fan of interceptors but liked bombers. instead of asking for any plans for jetbombers (the ar234 was not gouverment founded) he decided to use me262 as bombers and thisway stalling both projekts. its easy to say that both planes (me262 and ar234 could be used in groups on d-day). its was also the first jetplane with four wingmounted engines (as an experiment to give this plane more power) and it was in nearly all classes a bit better than the me262 only in the armament capacity the me262 went ahead.
