The Douglas FV-9B Sonic Harrier is the development of the FV-9A into a fully operational and manned VTOL fleet defense fighter. Lateral power is provided by a single Blasto BEF150 afterburning turbofan engine. This, paired with the two Blasto V-120 VTOL engines, gives the fully loaded Sonic Harrier a staggering power-weight ratio of 2.293! This gives the Sonic Harrier insane acceleration, which stays constant even when pitched up 90 degrees to vertical. Armament includes one 20mm Vulcan cannon in a ventral pod with 1000 rounds, and enough missiles to scare away even the largest formations of Russian bombers.
