The American Transonic airliner
Developed from the CV880s, the CV990 Coronados were delivered on 1962 to Nanhua International Airlines due to it's unique look including the 4 large anti-shock bodies on the wings to increase critical Mach by reducing transonic drag, it also featured the larger inboard shock bodies which was used to hold additional fuel tankage. Those magnificent planes were retired on 1996 after the Concorde was used for Nanhua Airlines Sonic being marked as the first legend to retire before the DC-8s and 707s from the Nanhua Airlines fleet.
