The Future Bird

The future of aviation is not of scramjets or space ships, but of flapping wings. VTOL up to flap the wings, and I add the engine for take-off. To take off from the ground, turn the engine to 100% while flapping the wings very slowly.

@TifftheCat I think so. I also made 2 other versions of my ornithopter, and atgxtg and Zyvx also made other versions. Check them out!
@DustyT33 i just uploaded the altered version of this, your wings concept has a extremely fast lift off with my infinit flyers landing gear. I made the wings bigger for lift, but i think you will like it. I will spot light this bird you made because of the simple yet very effective wing design you made.
@atgxtg Thanks for the advice!
@Zyvx sure, you can upload it! I'd be happy to see it.
I can turn this into a no engine no fuel plane that can launch from the ground in about a second. I tried my landing gear from my infinite flyer series, adjusted certain sizes for max lift, and hinges adjusted. I won't upload it unless you want me too, you will get points too for anyone who votes on it. I will make sure people know where it came from originally. Just hit reply to this comment with your answer. And if you say no I can scrap the prototype, no problem.
You got some good ideas here, keep up the good work. This particular design with a little tuning could fly without a engine or fuel and take off from ground.
Nice idea, but your wings need to be angled so they can sweep down more below the plane and push the plane up. Right now they just push it down.
BTW, I lengthened the strut connecting the wings to the plane, increased the piston length and direction and this thing can flap at close to 300 mph!
