Cellestial Wanderer MxI
"With the primitive tools at our disposal, space travel requires innovation and creativity."
The Cellestial Wanderer was specifically designed to operate in a vacuum. This craft can maneuver in a vaccuum by using RCNs as its source of thrust. It is also equipped with rotating plates that act as stabilizers, and prevent unwanted Yaw motions. Because of its lack of jet or prop-based propulsion, it utilizes weight-manipulating technology to keep it airborne.
How to fly (IMPORTANT): This vehicle has no throttle.
To prepare for flight, do the following:
- VTOL up (or down, doesn't matter). This will rotate some RCNs to complete the engine.
- Press activator 1: This enables the RCNs that allow for forward flight.
Now for flight instructions:
- Yaw left to fly!
- You will pitch down... a lot. Adjust as needed.
- Note that the craft may be a little wobbly, especially when you take off.
"But what about our ability to yaw?"
You cannot yaw when you are in forward flight. To yaw, de-activate activator 1, and activate activator 2. You will stop moving, but you will be able to yaw.
Misc tips and tricks:
- When in forward flight, let the aircraft pitch down by itself, rather than press the pitch down key, or move the joystick down.
- Here's a nice stunt! Do it by bringing your VTOL bar down (if it is up) or vice versa. This only works when you are flying forward.

@AfterShock It takes careful balancing and a ton of trial and error. If you keep running into trouble, try using one of those rotating plates that are on the back end of the craft. Those work wonders for balancing (idk why. This was all trial and error for me).
Mine just keeps doing backflips @spefyjerbf
Ok thanks I'll tell you when I post it if I do@spefyjerbf
@AfterShock Having absolutely no weight will make the physics freak out. You always need some weight on the craft. I always add a standard block for weight.
I have the parts so they don't weigh anything but when I add the cockpit that ways nothing the camera freaks out did you have that problem? @spefyjerbf
@AfterShock I didn't add any wings. I wanted to make sure that it could work in a vacuum.
I've got the concept I'm just working on stable flight and did you have any wings on it @spefyjerbf
@AfterShock Yep. You will most likely have a difficult time though. I sure did!
And can I try making a build like this? @spefyjerbf
@AfterShock Sure!
I've been trying to use RCN as propulsion but I didn't find a simple way but I never thought about using rotators, very creative
Can I use the guns for a new build I have coming up and I will give credit
Awesome
Super cool idea!!
@spefyjerbf Yeah, well that's expected from that of a plane without wings. However, it still flies very well despite the fact there are no wings.
@BaconAircraft Thanks! It has no wings, so its a little wobbly. Slow too. When I was weeding out all of the bugs from this thing, I saw some new definitions of unflyable.
@spefyjerbf It flies fine for me. :3
@Razr @BaconAircraft @BaconEggs Thank you! I have updated the desc to include important controls and instructions. This one is a pain to fly, but you can fly it at any altitude.
