Hydraulic Elevator? (Semi-Realistic)
Am I playing the right game? Controls: AG's 1,2,3+VTOL Up= Close Doors on all floors. Bring VTOL to neutral with the corresponding activation group (1,2, or 3) to open the door on the current floor. Throttle 0%= Floor 1, throttle 50%= Floor 2, throttle 100%= Floor 3. AG4= Cartop inspection light. Use low physics and don't go too fast because the game likes to blow it up sometimes. Enjoy this as this might be a SimplePlanes first! Or last! Sorry if the text looks weird, but I'm on iOS so typing descriptions is hard. Also, how do I use in-game screenshots instead of boring designer pictures?

@ElevatorEnthusiast747 now make traction elevator.
@ElevatorEnthusiast747 oh
@PZLAerospace ThyssenDover
@ElevatorEnthusiast747 It is discounted lol ThyssenKrupp.
@PZLAerospace Impulse never gets old
@ElevatorEnthusiast747 Dover
@PZLAerospace We all know what that fixture is
@ElevatorEnthusiast747 no I keep my videos to myself. No one can watch mine. Also I know the call station on the thumbnail on your account.
@PZLAerospace You have a Youtube channel or something?
Hey, I film elevators.
You can use photos as blueprints, and blueprints show up in the designer pictures.
Lol I like it.
@Bob9998 I don't know how to do in-game screenshots.
@Bob9998 It works. Use low physics for best results.
@AirbusB347 I will consider adding a longer shaft, but I don't think the game will let me do it because it gets hard to zoom into tall things in the designer. Thanks for the suggestions.
@AirbusB347 Also, elevators can't fall in real life. It only ever happens if the cables are cut intentionally. (Including the safety governor cable) The safety governor is basically a small wheel with weights on it. The wheel has a thin cable around it which is attached to the car. If the car is moving faster than full speed, the centrifugal force of the spinning weights triggers a spring mechanism to jam into the wheel. This puts tension on the governor cable, which pulls on the emergency brakes on the car frame. These brakes slow the car to a stop. Even if all the cables are cut, there is still a large shock absorber at the bottom of the shaft called a safety buffer which is supposed to dampen the impact of the car if it ever falls. This applies to traction elevators. Hydraulic elevators are out of the question because they are supported by a piston. However, hydraulic elevators still need to have safety buffers because of regulations.

@AirbusB347 I will try to put it in a big plane. Challenge accepted!
Another thing I love about this, when you break the pistons, the elevator hangs for a moment before falling down the elevator shaft, to make this more fun, you should add a longer shaft.
oml great idea:
Put this elevator inside a ginormous plane and post it
我第一次在这个游戏上看到电梯,厉害
@Reaper140 Thanks. This is also the first elevator I've seen on SP.
@ElevatorEnthusiast488 yeah I did lmao. It's pretty damn cool. First elevator I've ever seen on sp
@Reaper140 Have you tried going slow?
@Reaper140 lol
I've broken the elevator..this is why I can have nice things lmao
