SilverSurfer Long-Range Torpedo
I finally got a torpedo to work that is just slightly bigger than a standard Boom 50.
Made for smaller crafts or if you want to carry several of them.
Take off the cockpit and save the torpedo as a subassembly to use it on your already existing and future crafts.
AG1 to launch and activate engines (they are bound to throttle, best is to leave it at 100% until all torpedoes hit, but you can also bind it to the VTOL-slider for example).
One of the bombs in the front also has a camera, accessible with F5 when using a keyboard.
Powered just by two modded prop-engines. It's extremely efficient and has an even higher range than it's big brothers with only 47 gallons of fuel.
Cruise speed in the air is ~700 MPH, in the water ~234 MPH.
One Bomb 50 and four Bomb 25 are combined to one 1500 lbs warhead, the same as in the TideRider.
Stability and accuracy are also just as good.
Tested successfully at up to 1000 feet above sea-level. Best results showed at 0% detach force and below 300 feet above sea-level. Otherwise it can get a bit tipsy at touchdown and go into the wrong direction.
Enjoy! :)

@Wakescar I've found a problem with this small design. I have done testing with the cockpit attached, which works just fine on the larger ones, but for this small torpedo even 110 lbs matter on how good it handles at touchdown, resulting in a bad hit ratio when the cockpit is removed. I think I'll have to make some weight adjustments. For now I would suggest adding another cockpit, making it primary and then saving the torpedo with it's cockpit, so it works the best it can.
Much more manageable. Probably the best looking too. Nice job
@JacobHardy64 Torpedo size comparison :D
Darn @BRuthless
@JacobHardy64 And I was beeing extreme. Actually I didn't even see your comment until I uploaded this one. :D
I was being sarcastic @BRuthless
@Wakescar This might be the one for you. :D
@JacobHardy64 RippleRider didn't sound as good. :P
