CAC Kangaroo

5,598 RedFalcon  7.2 years ago

The CAC Kangaroo is a WWII, Australian built fighter aircraft designed as a counter to the fast turning Zeros of the Imperial Japanese Forces. The aircraft features a large relative wingspan with curved tips designed to improve airflow past the wing and to create a low wing loading, further enhancing turn rate performance. The fighter utalizes four .50 guns for air to air combat and it can also be equipped with a light air to ground payload.

This is the first build of a small series of fictional aircraft inspired by Australian military aircraft designs. The following aircraft will be used as inspiration for design over the next 3 weeks:

- Avro Lancaster (maybe)
- CAC Boomerang
- Gloster Meteor
- F-86F Sabre
- Mirage IIIO
- F-111C Aardvark (maybe)
- F/A-18A+ Hornet
- F/A-18F Super Hornet
- F-35A Lightning II (JSF)

Note: The order of which the builds are released is independent of the introduction date of each aircraft.

Hope You guys like the build, if you have any suggestions please leave them in the comments, I would love to hear them!
