V1 Cruise Missile
The history:
The V-1 (Vengeance Weapon 1) Flying Bomb (also known as the BuzzBomb) was the worlds first cruise missile introduced by the Germans as a wonder weapon during the 2nd world war
Had a top speed of over 400mph but typically hit it's target at a much lower speed because it was very cheaply built and the pulsejet kinda just "melted" a bit
The pulsejet mounted on it was capable of producing around 40 combustions per second, giving it the distinctive "buzzing" sound
Of over 6,700 launched at England, 2,300 hit the City of London resulting in over 20,000 casualties
The science:
(Insert engineering side of things along the lines of still being used by various space agencies in rotating detonation engines that I don't feel like typing out)
(Also insert brief description of how pulsejets work and the gyroscope mounted to it that I also don't feel like typing out)
Some parts of the blueprints I used didn't line up proportionally to itself, so there's a 50/50 chance the pulsejet is lined up where it's supposed to be
Front of the pulsejet and the code for the engine itself were sampled from DEUTSCHE's Ju 126 V-1
