XC924 is a an experimental aircraft testing for new engine placement. It has 2 turboprop engines mounted on the horizontal stabilizers. The new engine mounting reduces some drags and find out with more fuel efficiency - as the result, the transport plane can fly more longer distance, and increases the operation radius.
Top speed: 350 mph at 12,000 ft.
