Flakpanzer IV Ostwind
Finally finished building this, it turned out better than I hoped.
Anyways, controls.
AG1 and VTOL for turret rotation
AG2 and VTOL for gun elevation
AG3 to start engine
Steer with yaw
Cockpit mode is worthless, however camera 1 and 2 are both well placed.
The Flakpanzer IV "Ostwind" (East Wind in German) was a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun based on the Panzer IV tank. It was developed in 1944 as a successor to the earlier Flakpanzer IV/2 cm Vierling Wirbelwind.
The Panzer IV's turret was removed and replaced with an open-top, hexagonal turret which housed a 3.7 cm FlaK 43. In addition to its intended role as an anti-aircraft weapon, the fast-firing gun was highly effective against light vehicles and minor fortifications. A closed-top design would have been preferable, but this was not possible due to the heavy smoke generated by the gun.
The Ostwind's main improvement over the Wirbelwind was the FlaK 43's increased range and stopping power over the 2 cm Flakvierling 38 and slightly better armor on its turret.
Although an order for 100 vehicles was placed in August 1944, only 44 vehicles were completed (37 converted from existing Panzer IVs and 7 new production vehicles) from December 1944 to March 1945, all work being carried out by Ostbau Werke in Sagan, Silesia
Edit: This is not a good off-road vehicle due to the low ground clearance, so watch out for the border of landingfields, you won't get back if you go off.

@Colbs7200 In a 1 v 1 Wirbelwind might stand a chance, but it's jsut so bad at killing tanks compared to the Ostwind.
I would say 1v1 me but I don't have either. I've played both before and oh my god the purple cum sprayer is OP@Waemoth
@Colbs7200 Noo :)
@Waemoth
Naw. Werbelwind all the way
@Colbs7200 Yeah, this thing is epic in WT.
War thunder much?
@Luke92778 Sure, just say that I made it, and make sure that it's a successor.
@Luke92778 Possibly
@ThunderstormAviation Yeah, I love playing the Ostwind as antitank. Have been a while since I played WT, but I had a game with it (realistic) and 7 tank kills + 3 plane kills on Mozdok or whatever it's called.
Lol, this thing (and the Wirblewind) is soooooo OP in War Thunder! @Waemoth
@MaleticAirplanes I'll be uploading Grille 10 / 88mm Flak 37 later today, I might edit the paint for that. Glad you like it.
Okay. It's beautiful anyway.
@MaleticAirplanes I think I'll jsut stick with this to avoid additional work.
@Seeras Lol I reached 190 :P
@Waemoth
lol, 160mph are not bad for a ww2 tank ^^
@Waemoth you get approximately right color when you choose orange and darken it.
@ShatterFox Thanks
COOL :D
@MaleticAirplanes It's hard to make the proper colour, but with the right time in game it has the correct look (more or less).
Looks really nice. I only think that the color should be a bit darker, maby that brownish yellow of the Romels desert corpus.
@Seeras I just discovered something, I will make the Möbelwagen next.
I will have to turn them indivdually and then adjust height and postion from center. But it's possible, and I'll probably upload a version that has them tonight.
@Waemoth
that's a difficult spot to put a decal on in this game. =/
I have the same problem with my planes.
@Seeras Yeah, sure, but it's a bit too big, and I primarily wanted one here:
@Waemoth
The small one fits on the side of the chassis and that looks cool.
