Harbinger
Mid-WWII Eske fighter design, inspired largely by the Bf-109, Soviet Yakolev fighters (Yak 1, 3, 7 & 9), I-225 & Spitfire (Griffon varients). This powerful yet nimble fighter excells in air defense. Designed to marry a powerful engine with a lightweight but durable frame, and fitted with enough firpower to hold its own against the toughest of foes. Flying the Harbinger, your greatest weapon is your extraordinarily powerful engine and the spectacular climb rate this provides, use this to climb above your enemies to gain the essential energy advantage you need for the best possible odds in an extended fight. When attacking, make long sweeping passes on your target, spraying short bursts with the main cannon. Avoid extended turning engagements as although the Harbinger has incredible energy retention, the high torque exerted on the light airframe makes it hard to keep your guns on target at low speed. Your 50mm autocannon is mounted in the engine centre and fires through the propeller spinner, making it very easy to aim, the two .50 cal MGs are mounted either side of the fuselage are close together and are easy to aim as well. All in all, the Harbinger is a smooth operator which can singlehandedly decimate an enemy force when put in the hands of a skilled pilot
