The F-45B Barracuda is a Paternian 6th-generation multirole aircraft, designed by Bandit Aerospace. It was designed as a counter to increasingly potent 6th generation opponents, which the F-45A would struggle on its own. The result was an updated F-45 Barracuda, with new electronics and radar, revised cockpit, the ability to mount underwing external stores, revised 25mm gun pod, new coatings, and improved communications encryption.

This particular machine is fitted with a pair of Small Diameter Bomb racks for the air-ground mission, and four AMRAAM for self-defense.
