JL-300 is yet another afterburning turbofan engine developed by Helios Engineering. Its main feature is the new variable area exhaust nozzle that provides efficiency and versatility.
At throttle below 99% the engine operates in a fuel-efficient mode, providing 112.4 kN of thrust. At 100%, the nozzle increases in area and the afterburner activates, providing an additional 60 kN.
