"I have received various reports from subordinate command about these new tanks employed by the Paternian Army. They speak of a tank whose presence is announced by a terrifying noise and huge clouds of earth, tearing through vegetation as if it was nothing. They boldly cross protected minefields fearlessly in this fashion, crushing its way through. An ungodly beast, indeed. There is hardly a man who wants to fight it, it seems. I can hardly believe that they would use such a thing."
-Gen. Jose Aquino, Gran Hispanic Army, Central America Command.

Controls are like standard Paternian Army M6A4 UPS Ardent. Bulldozer controls from M6A4 UPS AUTO CEV apply to flail position. To start flails, press (6) and apply throttle. A Paternian Army mine flail employed for combat demining operations, it can be fitted to any CEV. The device, containing 28 flails, is designed to either prematurely activate mines through impact with flails or destruction of the mine by literally smashing it. When flail is in operation, the turret must be turned backwards and the vehicle limited to 3mph. However, despite this, it is one of the most effective demining vehicles available. With GPS linking, it is able to plot out the course taken through that is now clear of mines and coordinate with other flails.

While it's success rate in demining is variable, from near-100% to a paltry 50-60% dependent on crew experience and terrain, it is still considered very effective when employed with devices such as rocket line charges, manual demining, and armored bulldozers. It is often employed in an assault due to the psychological impact of the mine flail as well as its speed in demining.
