After the event Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom, SAAC feared that Reimu and Marisa will face stronger threats in the future, so Reimu's and Marisa's planes were sent to be upgraded at SAAC factory, Reimu's plane is rebuilt into a MiG PAK DP concept and Marisa's is rebuilt into a large 7th generation, triple engine, super heavy stealth fighter. Marisa's new plane carries some features from the previous one like the *optical camouflage, COFFIN system while also having new features such as super Master Spark and the Stargazer super nuclear missiles. The plane itself is very big for a fighter, with the size being smaller than the 737-700 only by a few meters, the plane is categorized as a Class 4 fighter jet and Marisa is categorized as a Class 3 fighter pilot, combined, both her and her plane reaches Class 7, only she and Reimu have reached this category. Marisa were recuited at the beginning of Broken Border along with Reimu, Sanae, Sakuya and Youmu. Only a few days into the war, she was the very first boss from Gensokyo, with only 2 Stargazers and her Master Spark, she completely obliterated Japan's air and naval fleets. Later, she was equiped with the Solntse nuclear bomb, she used it to obliterate the underground city underneath the Mt. Fuji. Marisa's plane is one of the most powerful and if not count Goliath Drone, is also the biggest.

*optical camouflage: After SA event, Marisa was interested in Koishi's plane's ability to turn invisible, so she asked Rinnosuke, her caretaker and also one of SAAC's founding members to replicate that for her plane, after upgrading, her 4th plane had the optical camouflage technology, the entire aircraft is covered in screens and cameras, the cameras take the background and project it on the other side of the aircraft, however, it wasn't great and anyone, if look closely enough can notice a clear distortion in the sky. Marisa's 5th plane has an improved version of the optical camouflage system, her plane blends nearly perfectly with the background, only her engines are exposed but can only be seen at certain angles.
