The Rangemaster was designed to increase the range of the Cargomaster, even at a loss of cargo space. The Rangemaster was equipped with four under wing fuel tanks bolted on and a Lockheed Constellation speed pak style fuel tank under the cargo space, the cargo space which was now also used as a fuel tank.
