The attack variant of the M-3. The M-3A tried a unique concept for attacking ground targets, it wouldn't swoop down to engage, it would use the rotating rocket pods to strafe a target while flying level. However, it could use the swooping tactic once the pods that can be rotated were expended. The M-3A armament includes: six Inferno Air-to-Ground missiles, forty-two unguided rockets, fourteen of which are attached to the rotating pod, four Boom 25s, one Boom 50, and two mini-guns, also mounted in the rotating pods.
