The SunSparrow Jet Glider is a super low part count experimental powered lite glider with two small cruise engines. Flies nice and steady, handles fairly smoothly. Intended for low altitude, low speed (150-300ish) operation. Fairly limited range means an extended flight will require midair refueling. Cruise: 40-70% Thrust, trim half down. Glide: Full Power Climb to 10,000, then level out, thrust to Zero, trim half down, VTOL 1/4 down. Takeoff: VTOL down full, trim down full, thrust up 100%. Liftoff at around 100-110. Landing: VTOL down 1/4, trim down full. Nice easy slow approach at abt 30% thrust, throttling back to 10 before touchdown. Brakes full, thrust to Zero. It takes awhile to slow, VTOL down 1/4, trim down full.
