The Hill Co. Type 140 Glofort MkVIIc (often called the "Forty") is a British multi-role aircraft developed during the Second World War by the Hill Company. It was originally conceived as a medium bomber from MkI to MkVIa. The Glofort later proved to be an effective low-level ground attacker, which came into service with the Royal Air Force (RAF) in 1941 as the model VIIc. Its large build was strong and allowed it to carry heavy armament and more fuel for longer range engagements. The C model had 4 cannon firing HE rounds added under the nose and strengthend wing spars to carry missles.
