B-5A Stone Eagle
My take on a metro (modern and retro) bomber, based on the Convair WS-125 or NX2 Camal nuclear bomber. This is what I imagine, if the Convair would've become a used aircraft and upgraded over the years for modern use.
The B-5 Stone Eagle flies on 3 main turbojet engines with afterburner, combined with 2 ram-air assisting engines with shock cone intakes, on each wing. This, combined with the massive canards, gives the tactical bomber fighter-like speeds and maneuverability.
Activation 1: Drop 12 x Boom 50
Activation 6: Formation lights
Activation 7: Landing lights
Activation 8: All other lights
The aircraft comes armed with 12xBoom 50, 4xCleaver and flares.
Max Speed: 1050mph at 35.000ft.
Landing speed on full load I find most comfortable around 215mph. Under 200mph it tends to nose-drop.
