A-9C CONTENDER

Aircraft Details

The aircraft is a modernized version of an early YA-9 design proposal submitted by Northrop to the U.S. Army's AX program in the 1960s.
(The following is a fictionalized setting.)
The A-9C uses two improved Allison T56 turbo-prop engines and a propulsive dual-reversing propeller to combine high speed and large payload capacity. The long span straight blades provide good mobility at low altitudes and low speeds. The auxiliary wing is divided into upper and lower sections and also functions as a braking auxiliary wing.
The YA-9 won a competition with the YA-10 and was officially adopted by the U.S. military as the "A-9A Contender". Although it was easily serviceable and highly bulletproof to withstand front-line use and carried a 30mm six-barrel machine gun for ground attack, the early A's did not have all-weather capability. Therefore, in 1999, the Precision Engagement Program (PEP) Capability Enhancement Program was implemented to improve the combat capability in parallel with extending the operational life of the aircraft. This included granting the AN/AAQ-33 Sniper XR or AN/AAQ-28 Lightning AT target-directed pods the ability to carry, power capability enhancements, readiness work to integrate digital datalink devices, refurbishment of six armament pylons to carry precision-guided munitions (PGM), integrated direct-attack munitions (JDAM) and wind It featured an integrated deviation-correcting small-moisture dispenser (WCMD), a more reinforced engine and a dual-reversing propeller.
As a result, the A-9C was mass-produced and modified.

Operating Instructions

AG2: Dumping all underwing armaments
Trim down: Flap deployment
FireGuns: Firing of 30mm machine gun (reduced by several kilometers per hour due to recoil)
30mm

JDAM is a smart bomb
Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) is a low-cost guidance kit that is attached to existing unguided free-fall bombs, converting them into satellite guided, precision “smart” weapons.
Even “smarter” with the addition of the DSU-38 Laser Sensor.
If you shoot in the same way as a missile, Almost certainly hit.
(AN/AAQ-33 Sniper XR for LJDAM guidance)

@BigBoy772 It's the engine embedded coaxially with the barrel of the gun with inputs to FireGuns that simulates the recoil.

How did you make it so that when the gun is fired it slows down the aircraft?

@xByKross1 I was able to confirm that this piece runs at about 30FPS on the xperia xz premium, so it's mobile friendly!
