The type7, being produced with the type2, was a light tank which was decent in tank-to-tank combat.
It took the main body of the type2, added “tracks”, removed the machine gun, and added a better, and bigger, turret. It wasn’t as fast as the type2, but traded it’s speed for more space and firepower.
