F-35 fighter (English: F-35, nickname: Lightning II, translation: "lightning II"), is a single seat single engine fighter / joint attack aircraft of the United States. It belongs to the fifth generation fighter in the world. It is the world's largest single engine single seat carrier based fighter and the only carrier based fifth generation fighter in the world.

The F-35 fighter has high stealth design, advanced electronic system and certain supersonic cruise capability. It is mainly used for front-line support, target bombing, air defense interception and other missions. Therefore, three main derivative versions have been developed, including f-35a with traditional runway takeoff and landing, F-35B with short-range takeoff and landing / vertical takeoff and landing, and f-35c as carrier aircraft.

The F35 doesn't have the upper limit of F22 or the flying speed of F22, but it can beat F22 in stealth.
