Background
HRG-01 Gustav is one of 3 Heavy Railway Guns in its class, The first weapon began to be made in 1949 and was completed in 1952, named Gustav after a General of the Neo Empire, namely Gustav Werner.
The Second and Third Weapons began construction in 1955 but construction was halted due to the defeat of the Neo Empire in the First Neo Civil War in 1956, and in 1967 the construction continued and was completed on December 9 1968, the two Railway Gun were named Raiden and Himiko after the first two Female Generals during the First Neo Civil War Raiden Hoffmann and Himiko Schubert, However, after three years of operation by the Neo People's Army, Raiden and Himiko were retired due to operational and maintenance costs which tended to be expensive, followed by Gustav 1 year later.
Fourth Neo Civil War
The Gustav-Class Heavy Railway Gun was returned to service by the Shadow Army in 2024 and underwent a 1 year Retrofit, during the Siege of Hanako City Gustav intensively bombed the defense of Neorasian troops, Gustav even destroyed a small town on the outskirts of Hanako City with just 1 day of bombing, However, on April 17 2029, during the Neorasian troops' attack on Hanako City Sector F, Gustav was hit by an air attack which left him moderately damaged. However, the attack was thwarted by Shadow troops with the help of Navy support who carried out the Hanako City Liberation Operation, Gustav was repaired and returned to the Battlefield in 3 Months.
Gustav, Raiden, and Himiko also took part in the Siege of Imperial Bay City on May 19 2038 by bombing the Neorasian Fort which hampered the movement of Shadow Troops.
At the end of the Civil War the Gustav-Class Heavy Railway Gun was retired, the Gustav was sent to Suhaj City to be scrapped, some parts such as the bell and the cannon are kept at the Suhaj city station as monuments, Raiden was used as a monuments at the Imperial Bay City Train Station, while Himiko is stored in the Hanako City Railway warehouse.
