After the fall of Moscow in January of 1941, Germany grew stronger and Britain is next, along with Canada and the US. So britain set out to build long range bombers which of all plans was thought of impractical but it soon made sense as Germany took control most of the siberian factories in Russia. Britain made the Type-44 a priority to fly long ranges and destroy the german factories, and also sold 600 units to Canada and 932 to the US. However, in late 1946, Germany salvaged over 32 units in Novosibirsk, and in the Urals and replicated the plane under the model: Lancästro Messerschmidt 46, and made use of it during the siege of Seattle in 1947.
