Background

The STA-02 Vision was developed in the early to mid-4th Neo Civil War, this development was intended to replace the STA-01 Swallow Kai whose performance was increasingly disappointing.

The STA-02 Vision made its maiden flight in early 2033. The STA-02 was initially developed as a fighter-bomber for the Air Force and Navy, However, the Navy rejected the proposal because it already had the STB-01 Enterprise Fighter-Bomber aircraft. The Air Force finally chose to operate it but its role was changed from Fighter-Bomber to Interceptor to prevent the Neorasian Air Force's Reconnaissance and Bomber Aircraft

The STA-02 Vision is also used as a Bomber Escort Aircraft to provide protection from attacks by Neorasian Interceptor Aircraft.

By 2037 most of the STA-01 Swallow Kai had been replaced with the STA-02 Vision, and most of the retired STA-01 Swallow Kai were sold to the Republic of Gurjagana Air Force.

Red Devil Squadron
Squadron 31, also known as the Red Devil Squadron, is an Interceptor Squadron based in Hanako City which was first formed in 1918 by the Neo Imperial Air Force and is also the oldest Interceptor Squadron in the Mizuhara Air Force.

This squadron was nicknamed the Red Devils because they had no mercy on the Neo People's Republic pilots. The NPR pilots who tried to Bail out were shot while still parachuting and not Allowed to touch the ground, There is another version which says that the nickname was due to the habit of the pilots who liked to paint the left wing of their planes with dark red paint.

From 1918 to 1945 this Squadron operated the TK-25 Hayate and KN-15 Shoki Intercept Aircraft. From 1945 to 2034 this Squadron operated the TK-45 Hayabusa. And finally at this time operating STA-02 Vision

Post Civil War Confirmed 29 STA-02 Visions were shot down by the Neorasians
